been busy lately, am busy now / the usual
latest updates since last rant:

Start with the start.
Wow. I did a couple of C-Mode runs lately. Which basically means I camp on alcyone all day and enter only TA games.
My TA skills shaped up really good over the last month and now I'm pretty much ready for each stage.
While doing that, I reached a couple of goals:
Nocturne C has a time of way under 3 hours for ep2c now while rati has a time of nicely under 4 horus for ep1c.
So I'm pretty much happy with those chars and will continue vice versa - Nocturne under 4 hours on ep1 and rati under 3 hours on ep2.
The FOrces arent advancing that good tho. Being FO is a bit harder than being a HU. Finding a team that's good enough is rare as well, since there are too many FO around already and it's hard to learn the best FO-way if you play a HU and just can guess what the others are doing.
Well, I will try on polishing my FO-TA-skills soon enough, I guess.
Another thing I noticed are those 'jp' games. I still dont know what to think about them, and thus I'm sometimes just ignore them and sometimes get really angry about them.
At least so far I know a few TA-players and what to expect from them. And some people even seem to recognize rati these days, so I'm happy.
Ah yeah, the slight racism. It's always fun when they all go *shock* once I introduce myself on entering and then be all quiet in the field, running past me while I plow through most parts of 2c2 alone, because they're so slow...
I especially like those Js who think, the game translates anything they say into the other language. True, I can read most things, but even if I want. I can just answer in hephburn or romaji or wordselect. If they think, gaijin are rude for using a way that doesnt autotranslates what they say? (w
Recently we watched '28 days after'. Since it was german dub, I could hardly tell if they cursed british or american, so that wasnt a disturbance.
That movie was real neat and imho is a way better Resident Evil-themed movie than the Resident Evil-movie itself is. Best Zombie-movie I've seen so far (and I guess this is the reason why the Zombies in that 'dawn of the dead'-remake are running nowadays).
Seen 'Troy' from the rental shop as well. What a waste of time. It's not a bad movie, but it's by far no good one. So many boring parts, so many annoying parts, so many bad rolemodels as well (pride is nothing, lie and fall into your oponent's back to win). I Plain dont like the movie. The only positive thing was that bearded guy. He at least held up the flag for good behaviour. The greeks arent smart with that horse, they're just ruthless. Disgusting.
Besides this, I've seen that Alien Quadrology-Box for cheap(er than before) today. 65 Euro instead of those 85/90 some shops want for it. The single-collectors-edition-movies on DVD got reduced as well - all four movies together for 55 Euro. Well... I guess that will be my xmas present for Mr. Oldschool (these days, he fell back to SNES games btw, beating Chrono Trigger a... 50th time or something in those lines... yeah, he lacks some time lately).
Shopping today got me Othello 4, Vagabond 15 and Naru Taru 10, so I'm not just happy, but also broke. Yepp, I shrinked my Manga-expenses a lot lately. This is kinda like my 2 Month-buy. I sorta disconnected GTO (at vol.10 - current state is vol.15) and Detective Conan (at vol.25 - current state vol.32) (aka. Case Closed, for the US-readers). We'll see, maybe I'll invest my next HL into catching up GTO *laughs*
Hm... what else. Ah, yeah. Uni started again, thus I'll have more time for PSOW and my site and less time for actually playing. There arent many good TA games anyway before 5pm MET. Nice tho, that I at least reached 2 of my 8 goals (all 4 C-Mode-chars to under 4 hours in ep1 and under 3 hours in ep2) before this. Maybe I'll drive rati as lowest as possible in ep1 and the same with NocC in ep2. It's just fun.
So many C-Mode tales to tell, but I forgot (or at least I try) most of them so far. Besides this. A TA game isnt TA if you dont play it like that. Too many J-noobs... And BB has ep1c now... T_T - lets hope, alcyone doesnt die now.
